šÆ š Today in First Grade we had a blast celebrating the 100th day of school. We raced to see how many times each person could write their name in 100 seconds, had 100 second staring contests, wrote about what we would do with $100 dollars, and even had a dance party with our 100 flat! The kids loved the special snack! šÆ š

First Grade loved celebrating Valentineās Day with ice cream! š¦ ā¤ļø š¹š



Our 2nd Graders had an extra sweet Valentineās Day.

First Grade had a great time crafting butterflies and playing estimation games for Valentineās Day. We appreciate the wonderful families that make holiday events special!

Taylor County Schools will operate on a two hour delay today,  Monday, February 14.

Law enforcement have announced an All Clear at Grafton High School  There is no longer an alert or code red.  
There is currently a code red  (an alert) at Grafton High School.  Law enforcement are investigating the situation and request that the no one come to the school at this time.  We will keep you updated as we receive information.
If your child is absent, be sure to let us know the reason by using one of these  ways to communicate with us! 

Today First Grade had their first STEM lesson with our county STEM teacher, Mrs. Howdyshell. She challenged them to create their names using pipe cleaners. The kids used problem solving strategies to use as few pipe cleaners as possible for the letters.
