First Grade enjoyed learning new facts and viewing the amazing animals on the field trip. We used the trip as an opportunity to review the science vocabulary we’ve learned this year. We discussed whether each animal was nocturnal or diurnal, and classified each as a carnivore, omnivore, or herbivore! 🦌 🦃 🦉 🦝

Spring has officially sprung in Pre-K! We’ve been busy making butterflies and bird nests.
First Grade has been learning how to write a narrative paragraph! They worked in pairs to practice telling stories that included lots of details! Did you know that by the end of the year 1st graders can write 5 sentence paragraphs? It takes lots of practice, but we work hard all year to build our stamina and confidence. 📝 💡

Some 4th graders researched the tropical rainforest and completed projects.
Preschool has been full of magic and learning this week! From graphing Lucky Charms, to searching and “cleaning” magic rocks. We love math and science!!
Due to staffing concerns, on Thursday, March 17, Taylor County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay.
